About Us

Our Mission

We care—for those who care.

The LCG iCare Foundation exists to assist Learning Care Group child care providers in times of need. As child care professionals, we dedicate our lives to the education and care of children, often making personal sacrifices to be there for the children in Learning Care Group’s care. The foundation is here to help dedicated Learning Care Group associates should they experience an unexpected crisis or tragic event.

Our History

Learning Care Group’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that early childhood education yields profound, long-lasting results. Kindness and empathy are emphasized as valuable life skills children need to develop so they can live, play, and work alongside others. To increase its ability for more charitable activities, Learning Care Group, Inc. has formed the LCG iCare Foundation.

Our foundation was formed to capture the passion and good wishes of our employees to reach out to those in need—that are also closest to home. Because we have a culture of caregivers, there is an overwhelming desire to help in times of crisis.

LCG iCare Foundation provides short-term financial assistance to current employees of Learning Care Group (including Support Central), Childtime Childcare, La Petite Academy, Montessori Unlimited, Everbrook Academy, The Children’s Courtyard, Tutor Time Learning Centers, and Creative Kids Learning Centers who have demonstrated financial need arising from severe hardship and/or emergency circumstances, including:

  • Natural disaster (flood, tornado, etc.)
  • Fire
  • Domestic abuse
  • Funeral cost for spouse, domestic partner, or child

Our goal is to assist in stabilizing the financial situations for those employees in need.
