The LCG iCare Foundation aims to help meet an employee’s needs during a time of genuine emergency, hardship, or other unforeseen circumstances that are within the parameters of our qualifying event parameters and policies.
To help our board of directors determine the level of support we can provide, we need to collect information from each applicant, including a description of the situation and any relevant records related to the hardship, information related to financial need, essential household expenses, etc. All documentation must meet eligibility criteria prior to submission for board of director review.
Before an iCare grant can be awarded, employees in need must also demonstrate that they’re exploring other avenues of assistance, including insurance coverage, our LCG Employee Assistance Program, etc. In some cases, we’re also able to help by providing additional resources and support networks.
All requests will be reviewed by the LCG iCare Applications Committee within 24 to 48 hours after submission.
